About

I'm a Staff Engineer at JoulesLabs with six years of experience building distributed systems for high-throughput platforms. My work sits at the intersection of backend architecture, infrastructure engineering, and technical leadership.

Most of my career has been in ad-tech — designing real-time bidding systems, budget pacing algorithms, and impression pipelines that handle tens of thousands of requests per second. I led the rewrite of our core ad serving engine from PHP to Go, reducing p99 latency from 120ms to 18ms and enabling 6x throughput growth.

Beyond the code, I care deeply about how engineering teams work. I've introduced RFC processes, built observability platforms from scratch, and mentored engineers through their first production incidents. I believe the best technical leaders make their teams faster, not just their systems.

I'm currently exploring opportunities at the Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, and Architect level — particularly in companies building developer infrastructure, platform engineering, or high-scale data systems.
